Decoding the genotype spaces in historic Cairo
This research project analyzes Historic Cairo’s spatial configuration using space syntax. The map illustrates street integration within a 500-meter radius, revealing accessibility patterns. High integration areas, like Al-Gamaleya and Al-Azhar Streets, indicate robust connectivity, influencing social and economic activities. The study informs urban planning strategies that balance connectivity with heritage preservation.
