People + Place = Value | Youth Vision for the City Using Artificial Intelligence
How do young people see Alexandria? Which everyday places matter to them—and why should these places be recognized, cared for, protected, or sensitively reimagined?
The initiative “Youth Vision for the City Using Artificial Intelligence | رؤية الشباب للمدينة باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي” invites young participants to explore Alexandria through their own experiences and values. Rather than focusing solely on formally recognized heritage, the initiative examines everyday buildings, streets, public spaces, and urban fragments that carry social, cultural, or personal meaning.
Participants will document selected places, interpret their significance, and learn to use AI responsibly as a tool for visual storytelling and urban imagination. The aim is not simply to produce attractive AI images, but to connect youth observation, urban understanding, expert knowledge, and public dialogue around what gives places value and how their future might be considered.
